Aperçu de iconStiX

IconStiX est un outil d'icônes fondamental facile à utiliser qui permet aux utilisateurs de combiner et d'attacher des images à des éléments du bureau.

IconStiX est un programme simple pour combiner des images et attacher une composition en tant qu'icône personnalisée à des éléments du bureau tels que des dossiers. Il fonctionne avec les services du Finder, vous pouvez donc sélectionner "Ouvrir iconStiX" dans le menu contextuel du Finder pour démarrer le programme.

Il prend en charge des fonctions de base telles que :

Ajouter plusieurs objets (image, forme et texte) et les visualiser dans un tableau
Déplacer, redimensionner, faire pivoter, incliner, colorer et ombrager des objets
Attacher/enlever des icônes personnalisées
Enregistrer des documents (en tant que modèle)
Exporter des compositions en tant qu'images (ICNS, PNG, TIFF)
Conserver des images d'icônes favorites pour un accès rapide.

Nouveautés de la version 4.6.3

Correction de bogues et mise à jour interne pour limiter l'utilisation de l'API obsolète uniquement pour la compatibilité ascendante (macOS 14 ou version ultérieure).

A clear leader in the sparse pack of icon adorning apps, not because it is the simplest (it is not) but because it is the most flexible. It pays to experiment and to make yourself familiar with all the features, including the ability to save favourites—and to transfer them to ColoFolXS, which can if required apply them via keyboard shortcuts. And who can resist a dev who implements a new feature less than 24 hours after you suggest it?

Like many others, I was looking for a replacement for Viou to create folder icons. Viou's user interface is a bit obtuse. But if you could figure it out, it worked great. And it was free. But it now no longer works on any recent OS. So I tried all that I could find, that allowed demo/eval. I liked this one the best. The user interface is much more intuitive. It is powerful, and while not free, it is reasonably priced. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly the developer responded to feedback. The next day, it was in the update. If you are looking for a tool to create icons. This is one program that you really should download and try. Try others too. But this will likely be the one you buy.

I have used iconStiX for years, but recently it has failed. It no longer allows attaching icons to files, only to folders. This is true for both the drop box and the Attach Custom Icon menu choice. This may be a bug in v3.4.

iconStiX (V2.2) is a great big pleasant surprise. It seems like everything I attempt to do—works …and works well. It's easy to use, not hard to figure out, (although a few features aren't as intuitive as they might be) and has plenty of output options. I've tried several similar apps but I'm gonna stick with this one. Easily worth $8.99 any day.
